So I'm applying for JET. It's one of those things that have been on my mind for a while, but I always thought that I could put it off or that it's so long from now that I don't have to worry about it. I started when I got back from China, and surprisingly, I'm already almost done. All I have left is my letters of reference and my statement of purpose.
What really look me back was how fast the process really was. Maybe I thought it should've been a struggle, but things move fast. Now I need to come to terms with the fact that this may be happening. Goals are easier to picture in the future, harder to reach, and different to comprehend, apparently.
It's not even just JET, but the process of things moving. Do I miss idleness? No. I definitely don't. But to see the wheels turn again, it's thrilling in the chillest sense.
I'm starting some work with Akufuncture, which is the clothing brand I'm working with. We're trying to find organizations and events to sponsor and to help get the word out about the brand. Definitely, hit me up if you're interested in the clothes or the possibility of working an event. I'll try to give you a discount, too. It's ok, my boss reads my blog, so he's cool with it.
Anyways, it's interesting to see progress. I got a job interview on Tuesday and first training for Movement Project that night. Hopefully it'll work out. Man, if everything works out, I'll be a functioning member of society.

Haha I didn't click on the link or read the subject title until I finished the entry. This whole time I thought you wanted to write for a magazine. Sounds great man, I hope you get it! Will most definitely sustain your blog material for the next year -- which reminds me, I need to jumpstart my writing. Keep us posted on what hizzapenning.
